Hells Belles at the Showbox : There are cover bands and there are groups like this that take the material to a new level and establish a reputation for putting on consistently great performances. The Showbox next to Pikes Market is also an easy walk from dozens of downtown eateries for you to dine at before starting the night. Don’t wish people a happy new year, scream it.
SPECTRA 2017: Hosted by the Pacific science center, this is one of the best parties in the city. Live music by local KEXP DJ’s, science demonstrations and more than a few surprises, this event will keep party goers on their toes all night. Abney Park with special guests at the Columbia theater: By far one of the strangest acts to ever come out of Seattle (and that’s saying something) Abney Park has been one of the front runners of the Steampunk movement and helped to define the scene.Also featuring Djs and Burlesque servers, this will be one of the most bizarre parties anywhere in town. Watch the fireworks at the Space Needle : One of the great things about the Space Needle is that you can see it from all over the city, from Aliki Beach to Kerry Park to Capitol hill, the sky will be filled with one of the largest fireworks displays on the West coast. Make sure to bring a blanket and a thermos of coffee.
Seattle Symphony: The world renowned Seattle Symphony is spending New Years Eve covering Motown classics by Artists such as Stevie Wonder, Tina Turner, Marvin Gaye and more. This is sure to be an incredible performance blending two styles of music. (206)215-4747 or seattlesyphony.org

Nyårsfest 2016 : Ring in the New Year at the Swedish Cultural center featuring live music by Purple Passion Swing band, the Moonspinners and many more.
