This home had great mid-century modern lines to start with, so the exterior required a face lift with new siding, new roof, new windows, and a new front porch with modern metal railings. Mixing several different siding patterns is extremely popular right now with the new modern construction in Seattle. The front of this home is a flat panel hardie material, tongue-and-groove cedar as an accent, and lap siding wrapped around the rear.
